Welcome to Monroe, Iowa! It’s a great place to live.  I’m Kim Thomas and have been employed with the City of Monroe since 2002.  In 2004 I became a Iowa Certified Municipal Clerk through the Iowa State University Extension and in 2006 I became certified by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks Association and in 2018 I became  an Iowa Certified Finance Officer. Some organizations I have been involved with include: the American Red Cross Board, Jasper County United Way Board, Monroe Old Settlers Committee, Jasper County Economic Development Committee, Golden Municipal Clerks Association and the Iowa Municipal Finance Officers Association. I can be reached at City Hall  641-259-3490./
