The library has a collection of over 22,000 items including adult books, teenage books, children’s books, large print, Dvd’s, and audio books.
- We receive over 30 different magazines for adults. All of these can be borrowed from the library. In addition, we have a photocopier(fee for use), and can laminate items up to letter size (fee for use). For those of you who are technology oriented we have four public-use computers with wireless internet and printing capabilities.
- The Monroe Library will source books for library card holders through the Iowa Inner Library Loan Program. We have a large, welcoming children’s area with a large collection of children’s books and hands-on activities for the family. Relax in our quiet adult reading lounge with a magazine or book. We offer fresh coffee for our adult patrons. The teens have their own space to explore our expanded collection of young adult books and graphic novels.
