The City of Monroe is seeking qualified applicants for the position of a General Maintenance Employee. Position will be responsible for assisting with park and cemetery maintenance, street maintenance, water and wastewater systems, and other duties as assigned in the city. Minimum qualifications are: high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a CDL. Position will consist of mowing during spring and summer months. After one year of employment, employee will be required to get Water Distribution and Wastewater Treatment Certifications. Salary will be determined upon qualifications.
